I have always loved everything French… The Language, Countryside, Style, Décor, Brocante, Food and, of course, Joie de Vivre!…Over the years, with our young family, we spent many happy summer holidays visiting quite a few corners of our most favourite country. Collecting French Vintage (Frintage!) pieces began as something I enjoyed during this time…collecting pieces which brought a touch of France to my own home… Happily, but surprisingly, this ‘pleasure’ has evolved into so much more…
Over time, I was finding that, like me, my family and friends were inspired by my ‘treasures’ and wanted to recreate a little corner of France in their own homes. Almost without realising, I found myself (hail, rain or shine!) absorbed in the world of French ‘Brocante’, discovering extraordinary pieces and sharing them with my fellow ‘Francophiles’!
Next, came our VERY own corner of France, when, 3 years ago, we purchased a little house in an enchanting Medieval town in Burgundy…a little piece of France we could actually call our own!!
‘Frintage’ was the next step…Wonderful ‘finds’ I have hunted for… I want to share my ‘finds’ with you…Happy Hunting!!
