French vintage blue and White Sarreguemines plate on Hollow Stand. Very typically French, it is referred to as a ‘Creuse’, usually used for dessert. Stamped on the base ‘Royat U & C Sarreguemines.
Sarreguemines Potttery was established in the late 18th century. Many of the transfer pieces found today were made in the 19th century. In Very good condition. A desirable piece of French history.
